A chapter is often followed by another chapter.
As I reach the end of this semester feelings of sadness and relief come upon me. Sadness because we will no longer be communicating as Team 503, and relief because I made it to the eighth week. As this chapter closes in my life I know that another awaits me soon. Some of us will be taking the same class next semester, as others will be taking others. Sadness and relief will soon be overtaken by excitement as we go on spring break, then curiosity as we receive the syllable for next class. What are you feeling as you reach the end of this semester?

22. Strengthen student support services for graduate students and make them more accessible, including online and on-campus services
When I think of having someone “more accessible” to online
graduate students, I think of having a substitute teacher accessible online 24
hours: I’ll give you an example: When you log onto a webpage and the “chat now”
appears, asking if you have a question.
You, as the customer will ask the question and customer service will
respond, helping you with your question.
As Marist online graduate students, if we have any question regarding
classes, lectures, exams, projects, etc; by having a “chat now” pop-up
accessible 24-hour to the students, we are less likely to be stressed when
looking for answers. Especially when we
know that a professional is at arms reach.

HOW IMPORTANT IS THE DISTANCE ONLINE LEARNING EDUCATION PROGRAM AT MARIST COLLEGE?
The distance online learning education program at Marist College is very important to the local and international community, as well as to the young and old community, more specifically the working individuals who are consumed with the day to day family life: children, work and extra-curriculum activities.
Technology is only advancing, and having said that, so is education. With the high working demands, individuals are looking into and applying to distance learning graduate programs more now than they did in the past, and that is why it is vital that Marist College expands their distance online learning education program by adding more majors.
