The distance online learning education program at Marist College is very important to the local and international community, as well as to the young and old community, more specifically the working individuals who are consumed with the day to day family life: children, work and extra-curriculum activities.
Technology is only advancing, and having said that, so is education. With the high working demands, individuals are looking into and applying to distance learning graduate programs more now than they did in the past, and that is why it is vital that Marist College expands their distance online learning education program by adding more majors.
I love the new look of your blog! What new majors do you think should be added in to the online offerings?
ReplyDeleteThank you! I was thinking something along the line of health and medical programs. The health and medicine field is something that will never lack in the workforce.
DeleteIt would definitely be beneficial to add more online graduate majors, it would make Marist more competitive since most schools only offer a limited amount of majors online. I also think it would be interesting if they incorporated different areas of emphasis within the graduate communication program. What I mean by that is sometimes I wish we had more of a choice on the classes we were required to take. Of course with any major there should be specific requirements that everyone must complete. But then I think it would be more beneficial if there was areas of interest you could specialize in based on your goals and the courses that interest you. For example, offering areas of interest such as intercultural, organizational or health communication.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree. For example, I have a bachelor science degree in legal studies emphasizing in personal injuries. Instead of taking classes that may not seem meaningful and deter you from wanting to learn, it would be beneficial to take a class that would inspire you to want to do better.
